Online lottery betting leaders join the likes of Virgin and Airbnb at Munich’s prestigious Bits & Pretzels festival

Lottoland confirmed their reputation as one of Europe’s leading start-ups yesterday (Sunday September 25th) as they took centre stage at Munich’s world-leading Bits & Pretzels founders festival.

Lottoland’s Chief Strategy Officer Elicia Bravo was among the speakers at the event, which also included the likes of Richard Branson and senior figures from leading start-ups such as Airbnb, Evernote and Kayak.

In total there were over 5,000 attendees at Bits & Pretzels, which takes place during Munich’s Oktoberfest and attracts a large number of investors and media. Oscar winning actor and tech-investor Kevin Spacey was also among the attendees.

Lottoland, who specialise in offering customers the chance to bet on the world’s biggest lotteries to win the same prizes, have experienced massive growth since they started operations in Gibraltar in 2013.

In just over 3 years the company has grown to become the world’s leading online lottery betting operator, launching 29 lottery betting products in 12 markets in the last 3 years and have over 4 million players globally.

Chief Strategy Officer Elicia Bravo said, “It’s a huge honour to take the stage alongside the likes of Airbnb and Virgin.

“Bits & Pretzels is the leading event of its kind, bringing together the world’s most successful start-ups. It speaks volumes about our growth that after just over 3 years we find ourselves among such esteemed company.”

As well as raising the profile of Lottoland’s B2C operation, inclusion at events such as Bits&Pretzels is also great for the company’s B2B arm Lottoland Solutions, says Director of B2B Mike Bogie.

“Being a part of a hugely prestigious event like Bits & Pretzels is a big accolade for our business and highlights the incredible growth we’ve undergone.

“That growth will be further accelerated by our recent strategic expansion into B2B, providing our lottery betting games and risk management as a service to operators who are seeking to grow their own business through a lottery partnership with the market leader.’
