Digital Sports Tech Debuts in Latin America

Business News

Provider of sports betting solutions Digital Sports Tech announced its entrance into the Latin American gambling market through a recent partnership agreement with Mexican operator Caliente. The Mexican company is set to go live with the supplier’s player proposition betting solution. The product is expected to become available to Caliente customers early this year.

Player Props will make it possible for Mexican bettors to create and customize bets in a manner they find fit and on players’ performance across a number of sports and statistics. Bets will be made in real time.

Through special algorithms, Digital Sports Tech’s product analyses every customised bet placed so as to be able to generate precise odds and calculate the result automatically. Football, American football, rugby, and basketball are the sports currently available via Player Props.

Generally speaking, each betting customer is able to create single player bets, combined player bets, and head-to-head bets. The enormous range of player markets is one of the features that has made the product particularly popular among bettors. It is also believed that the market variety increases bettors’ engagement as they are watching the match they have placed bets on more carefully rather than just waiting for the final result.

Commenting on their latest partnership, Digital Sports Ltd. Executive Director Ari Lewski said that Latin America is an attractive sports betting market and that they are happy to be able to expand there.

Mr. Lewski further noted that they are glad to be working with Caliente, in particular, as the operator is really focused on the US market. According to the executive, the US is where their product “comes into its own” as sports there are of a stats-heavy nature and fans are always keen to follow players and their performance in terms of statistics.

Caliente Interactive CEO Emilio Hank added that the Player Props product will certainly complement their offering in an excellent manner, as it provides diverse options for the operator’s customer base, especially given their tendency to bet actively on the major and most popular US sports.

Player Props is set to make its Latin American debut shortly after it went live in the UK and across Europe with gambling operator Coral and in Australia with MadBookie. Ladbrokes Australia is also set to roll-out the product anytime now.
