International Game Technology PLC (NYSE:IGT) has announced that its subsidiary, IGT Global Services Limited (with International Game Technology PLC, hereinafter “IGT”) has signed an agreement with Société de la Loterie Suisse Romande (“Loterie Romande”) to provide integrated Aurora™ suite of solutions and services to the Swiss market. This agreement is an amendment to an existing 10-year agreement effective through to 2023. Loterie Romande has been a valued customer of IGT, previously as legacy GTECH, since 1994.

“IGT’s Aurora solution represents the next step in Loterie Romande’s long history of innovation and delivering new and exciting games to our customers,” said Jean-Luc Moner-Banet, Loterie Romande CEO. “We look forward to leveraging Aurora’s features and reliability for the benefit of the Romande region.”

“This agreement represents the next evolution in the long-term partnership between IGT and Loterie Romande,” said Declan Harkin, Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, IGT International. “By providing IGT’s new high-performance, high-reliability lottery platform, Loterie Romande will have the flexibility and dynamic, player-focused system that it needs to increase its customer base and revenues to good causes.”

Under the new agreement, IGT will replace the current Enterprise Series™ system with the latest IGT Aurora™ product suite. Loterie Romande will benefit from the modular Aurora design while providing a full retailer management and player integrated solution for draw games and instant ticket management. Aurora will also provide faster time-to-market with game implementations that provide more variety for players, as well as a true omnichannel capability allowing seamless player journeys across retail and digital user experiences. The solution is scheduled to launch in 2019.

Proceeds generated from IGT’s solution will increase the contributions LoRo provides to the Cantons, which benefit environmental causes and cultural events, and provide much-needed support for education and healthcare programs.
