Partypoker is delighted to announce it is adding Norwegian professional poker player Johnny Lodden to its roster of ambassadors.

Lodden first cashed in a major live poker tournament in 2004 in the St Maartens Open and has gone on to earn almost $2.62 million in winnings.

The 31-year-old holds the record for number of cashes on the now defunct European Poker Tour with 22 in-the-money finishes; the void left by the closure of the EPT is filled by the new partypoker LIVE tour, led by the EPT’s founder John Duthie.“partypoker has always been one of the world’s largest poker sites and it is an honour for me to be part of their team.

It was important for me to sign with a company that believes in their poker product and their mission. The fact that John (Duthie) has been appointed President of partypoker LIVE ensures their commitment to the game, and that is something I am excited to be part of,” said Lodden.
