Business News

iGaming Academy is pleased to announce leading iGaming Operator, the Betsson Group has recently purchased its eLearning solution to help retain ISO 27001 accreditation.

As part of the accreditation process, businesses are required to ensure staff understand the importance company and customer data and how to safeguard alongside their own IT infrastructures. When examining its own accreditation requirements Betsson Group looked to iGaming Academy to see if it could provide a robust and cost-effective solution.

iGaming Academy has developed a bespoke eLearning Information Security course for Betsson Groups, specifically designed to meet its certification and corporate requirements. The course has been designed to illustrate to employees the importance of Information Security and why it’s business critical, and teach them to how to protect confidential information and report actual or suspected data breaches.

With over 1,500 staff spread across bases in Malta, Sweden and four other countries, Betsson required a solution that would enable training to be rolled out across the Group simultaneously and ensure its completion by all staff within an agreed timescale.

iGaming Academy’s award winning eLearning Portal with its sophisticated and versatile white label learning management system was agreed to be the ideal solution. It enables companies to train employees on a range of compliance based training subjects including Info Security, UK/EU Anti-Money Laundering, Responsible Gambling, Advertising Law and GDPR.

The portal’s learning management system tracks employee progress through an in-built console, providing the most comprehensive set of management information (MI) reports on the market as well as diagnostic assessments and automated reminder emails for non-completers.
