IGT has signed a three-year contract extension to provide the New York Lottery with new lottery technology, additional terminals, multimedia enhancements, and ongoing services. The contract extension will commence on August 6, 2017. The New York Lottery has been a valued IGT customer since 1986.

“As the leading provider of cutting-edge lottery solutions, IGT is committed to supporting the growth and innovation of its customers. We are grateful that the New York Lottery has chosen to continue its partnership with IGT, allowing us to assist in their future growth,” said Jay Gendron, IGT Senior Vice President, WLA North America Lottery. “With this contract extension, we will work closely with the Lottery to apply industry-wide best practices to increase lottery sales, and provide additional convenience for retailers and players through the addition of new lottery terminals and self-service products.”

Under the terms of the extension, the New York Lottery will utilize IGT’s Enterprise Series (ES) Anywhere solution to allow expansion of features and games. IGT’s Retailer Wizard solution offers a secure website for Lottery retailers to more effectively manage their businesses, interact with the Lottery, and drive results. OnePlace will provide Lottery field sales personnel with more effective tools for sales and inventory management at retail locations. The Lottery will also receive improved reporting functionality with the delivery of IGT’s latest version of Business Intelligence, which provides reporting and visualization including executive level dashboards, instant-ticket reporting, and lottery vending machine analytics.

In addition, the Lottery will receive 1,000 full function Altura™ Flex draw-based lottery terminals, offering a smaller footprint to optimize retail space, while continuing to offer a highly-configurable platform derived from the Altura GT1200.  The Lottery will also receive Gemini Touch™ self-service lottery product vending machines, displaying up to 28 instant games and a full-complement of draw-based games. Moreover, the Company will provide enhancements to its ES MultiMedia player messaging solution, allowing creative content flexibility.

IGT will maintain its primary data center in New York, providing services to the New York Lottery including installation and maintenance of the lottery terminals; retailer training; field services; telemarketing sales and services; call center support; and instant ticket warehousing and distribution.
