Tabcorp announces new head of wagering and media business
Tabcorp has announced that Adam Rytenskild has been appointed to lead Tabcorp’s Wagering and Media business ahead of the retirement of Craig Nugent later this year.
The role is also see Rytenskild take responsibility for the integration of Tatts’ wagering business, following the implementation of the proposed combination of Tabcorp and Tatts.
Rytenskild joined Tabcorp in 2000 as Victorian Retail Wagering Manager and has since led Tabcorp’s multi-channel Distribution, comprising the broad retail network and Tabcorp’s high growth digital channel.
Since 2014 Rytenskild has been the Chief Operating Officer of Gaming Services and Keno, where he oversaw the expansion of the Gaming Services business, the integration of Intecq and the turnaround of Keno.
“I look forward to working with Mr Rytenskild in his new role. He is an experienced Tabcorp executive with a strong background in wagering. He is well placed to grow the wagering business and execute on our integration with Tatts,” said Tabcorp Managing Director and CEO, David Attenborough.
“I would also like to acknowledge Craig Nugent’s contribution to Tabcorp and the racing industry, more broadly, and wish him well as he approaches his retirement.”
The appointment has been welcomed by the Australian Hotels Association’s (AHA) National Executive, with AHA President Scott Leach congratulating Rytenskild on his appointment.
