The gambling operator Kindred Group secures further expansion in Stockholm by signing a lease agreement with AMF Fastigheter in their new project Urban Escape in central Stockholm. The move into new premises is part of the company’s expressed ambition to be a leading tech company in Stockholm.

Kindred Group (previously Unibet Group) has signed a lease agreement with AMF Fastigheter in the first-class city development project Urban Escape on Regeringsgatan 27 in central Stockholm.

Kindred, one of Europé’s leading online gambling operators with brands such as Unibet, MariaCasino, iGame, StanJames and 32Red in its portfolio, runs most of its tech development business from Stockholm. The company has an expressed ambition to be the number one operator across its markets, as well as confirm the profile as a leading tech business in Stockholm.

The lease agreement with AMF Fastigheter ensures that this ambition is possible by more than doubling the office space from the current 3,000 sqm to 8,000 sqm, and by offering a stimulating and top modern working environment for its current and future employees.

”I am delighted to be able to announce Urban Escape as Kindred’s next home in Stockholm. We are a company on the forefront of our industry with high growth in a market where competition for skilled and ambitious employees is tuff. Through our new base in Stockholm, we will be able to continue our exciting journey and be regarded as one of Stockholm’s most attractive places to work”, says Henrik Tjärnström, CEO of Kindred Group.

Kindred has grown significantly the past years and today employs around 1,400 people of which approximately 250 works in Stockholm. With the current growth pace, the company expects to double the number of employees in Stockholm over the coming years.

Closing is expected to take place during Spring 2019. Tenant & Partner have acted as advisors to Kindred Group.
