Perform Group and TXODDS launch new partnership to protect the integrity of sports competitions and betting markets

Perform, the leading digital sports content and media group, has today announced a new integrity partnership with TXODDS, the real-time betting markets experts.

The companies will collaborate on a variety of projects focused on protecting the integrity of sports competitions and betting markets.

Perform and TXODDS will provide innovative new systems with unparalleled access to additional intelligence and analysis to investigate matches on behalf of rights holders and sport governing bodies.

The Perform/TXODDS partnership has already led to the development of the proprietary and unique betting market monitoring system used by the Perform Integrity Unit.

It is powered by a bespoke volatility alerts feed, tailored to highlight potential irregularities in betting markets across a range of competitions. The feed is built using the Perform fast data service, RunningBall, the leading provider of real-time sports data to the betting industry, and TXODDS’ betting market data compiled from a range of global operators.

The system is currently being used in football integrity projects for Football DataCo, the official data rights holder of all the professional football leagues in England and Scotland, and La Liga in Spain. It complements the information and intelligence that Perform Group shares with other football bodies and stakeholders in line with the UK’s National Intelligence Model guidelines. These collaborative, transparent and non-commercial operations demonstrate the Perform commitment to a responsible partnership with sport, and its support for an educated interaction with betting by sports governing bodies.

Perform and TX will continue to work together to help the sports governing body and rights holder sector, and the parties will explore additional means of expanding the relationship. The partnership will next focus on supporting the development by TXODDS of additional integrity-led products and services, powered by RunningBall and targeted at the betting market.
