BOS has decided to adopt the game developer SG Digital as an associate member.

The Industry Association for Online Games (BOS) brings together 17 gaming companies that operate on the Swedish gaming market. The member companies operate in the game sector that involves games about money, for example casinos and betting. All members have (at least) a license issued by the gaming authorities of any of the European Union Member States.

BOS seems to be a healthy gaming market in Sweden, where all gaming companies are given the same rights and obligations. In the years to 2018, this work is mainly channeled to the spellicence investigation by the government, and the political treatment that follows. The government’s ambition is that this will lead to the end of the Swedish game monopoly in 2018, in favor of a licensing system. BOS supports that line.
