Mr Green and Gamingzone Entertainment have started a joint venture to build a new community for esport followers, focusing on entertainment, news and gaming opportunities.

Mr Green runs several iGamingsajter, including Mr Green and Redbet. Gamingzone Entertainment is specialized in esports and gaming entertainment. The new business will be run under a new, not yet established brand. The company is owned 55 percent by Mr Green and 45 percent of Gamingzone Entertainment. Karl Mikael Cakste, one of Gamingzone’s founder, initially joins the CEO.

“Esports is a global phenomenon that grows fast and more and more followers spend a lot of time playing both themselves and watching different types of moving content. Some assessors believe that esports will be as big as traditional sports. We want to join and create a presence among all these followers. In Gamingzone, we have found a partner who can provide esports, content and entertainment, “said Per Norman, CEO of Mr Green.

Gamingzone Entertainment was founded in 2017 by people from the media and entertainment industry and companies like MTG, TV4, Zodiak and Endemol Shine. The company is behind the reality series GAMERZ, where future talents in the game Counterstrike Global Offensive get the chance to become a professional professional.
