Revenue growth for Intralot in the first quarter

Intralot reported annual revenue growth and EBITDA for the first quarter of 2018.

Specifically, as reported by the company in a related announcement, consolidated turnover increased by 4.3% compared to last year, thus generating total revenue for the three months ended March 31, 2018, to € 280.7 million.

EBITDA, from continuing operations, stood at € 42.6 million in the first quarter of 2018, an increase of 1.9% (€ + 0.8 million) compared to the corresponding period of 2017.

Group revenues and EBITDA earnings increased by + 12.7% and + 15.6%  respectively at a constant exchange rate, compared to the first quarter of 2017. The EBITDA margin decreased by 0.3pps (to 15.2%) on revenue and by 0.2pps (to 30.1%) on GGR.

The EBT margin stood at 4.7% (-0.5pps compared to 2017). NIAMM’s (Net Profit after Taxes and Minority Interest) from  continuing operations remained relatively stable compared to the prior period (€ -6.0 million in 2018 from € -6.1 million in 2017). Operating cash flows in the first quarter of 2018 are reduced by -8.4% (or € -3.3 million) compared to the same period last year

Net lending stood at € 528.3 million, recording an increase of € 17.6 million compared to Net Debt as at 31 December 2017.

Emphasis remains on growth in markets such as the US, where the recent lifting of the federal ban on sports betting creates great opportunities from the perspective of a $ 20 billion purchase in terms of GGR revenue, in addition to the large prospects of reference projects such as the Lottery of Illinois. “
