Pennsylvania casinos ask administration to suspend iLottery games

Pennsylvania casino operators want the state’s newly-minted online lottery games taken down, and they’re willing to take legal action to make it happen. 

Pennsylvania’s land based casinos petitioned the Governor’s administration via letter, asking that the Department of Revenue work with them to create a “lawful iLottery program.”

Penn National and Parx Casino, which called for strict restrictions on iGaming, including provisions that would limit the reach of out-of-state operators. The Sheldon Adelson owned Sands Bethlehem took that position a step further, making it clear that it was vehemently against online gambling in any capacity.
