The Irish Football Association and Toals Bookmakers have today announced a new partnership which will see Toals become the official bookmaker of the IFA, the Northern Ireland senior international football teams, the Tennent’s Irish Cup and the Match Intermediate Cup.

Toals Bookmakers is a locally-based family-run business. Established in 1932 with 50 branches across Northern Ireland, Toals has a presence in every county in Northern Ireland and well-established telephone and online service at Toals.com. Known for their innovative and customer-oriented approach, they endeavour to be at the cutting edge of the industry.

Toals Bookmakers is pleased to partner with the Irish FA as it shows a shared desire to see the game grow at all levels. The Tennent’s Irish Cup is one of the oldest club competitions in the world.  Toals are proud to have their brand associated with this competition which was first contested in 1881, as well as the Match Intermediate Cup, as it demonstrates their unmatched commitment to local football competitions.  This deal means that Toals now sponsor the County Antrim FA, The County Antrim Shield, Steel and Sons Cup, Junior Shield and of course Irish League champions Crusaders FC.

Gareth Williamson, Business Development Manager for the Irish FA, said: “We are pleased to be announcing this new commercial relationship with Toals, a local company who have a strong track record of investing in football. Toals are an excellent partner as they share the Irish FA’s vision of seeing football grow at all levels across the country. We look forward to working with them in the coming years and to sharing success both on and off the pitch.”

Gary Toal said: “This is an exciting partnership which fits with the Toals brand. We are a local business and we are keen to support Northern Ireland football. This partnership allows us to invest in the local game played in footballing towns across the province.  As the Leading independent Bookmakers in Northern Ireland, the association with the Irish FA and Northern Ireland football will boost our profile further.”
