Betsson Group has today been licensed to conduct online games in Sweden.

The licenses received today will come into force on January 1, 2019 and include the three brands Betsson, NordicBet and SverigeAutomaten. Betsson now holds licenses in twelve jurisdictions where you pay local game taxes. Swedish corporation tax is set at 18 percent.

The Betsson Group has offered gaming entertainment to Swedish customers since 1963 and has driven the development of the Swedish gaming market. The gaming license allows competition on equal terms and gives Swedish customers access to the games they request under a Swedish regulatory framework, which is long-term positive for both customers, gaming operators and shareholders.
