Turkey has opened a tender for the operation of a centralised sports betting system and risk management centre by businesses for fixed odds and mutual betting, the Official Gazette said on Friday.

The Turkish government said all bids should be filed a proposed revenue share agreement form and must include a percentage of total revenues raised and what the applicant is willing to receive in return.

The right candidate would also need to have a successful track record in operating large betting activities across a minimum 500 outlets. The government expects at least 6,000 outlets to be available in the country.
