Sportium brings the European Racing Channel horse races to Spain
Sportium has signed an agreement with Arena Racing Company one of the main operators of racetracks in the United Kingdom, to offer the signal of the European Racing Channel channel throughout its network of stores and corners in Spain.
The economic terms of the agreement have not transcended, but by virtue of the agreement, the company will be able to offer horse and greyhound racing to its users.
This agreement will also allow Sportium to offer ARC’s Ultimate Live Greyhound Channel (Ulfc), which will take it to incorporate the emissions of events organized in more than twenty high-level racecourses in the United Kingdom, more than fifty Australians and eight new racecourses in South Africa, as well as new dog tracks . These are disciplines that the bookmaker already offered , since it has agreements with Apuesta Hípica and Deportiva Iberia (Adhi) and the French horse betting company PMU, among others.
Alberto Eljarrat, CEO of Sportium, has stated that with “this agreement with ARC we can present a powerful offer available from this week in all our terminals. This alliance greatly reinforces our competitive advantage and market leadership. ”
For his part, the director of international markets of ARC, Antony Hopkins, added that “this agreement is in line with the goal of ARC to provide high quality betting content to our customers in international territories, as well as to our national market. ”
