The Swedish trade body has decided to adopt Hero Gaming with the brands Casino Heroes, Speedy Casino and Speedy Bet – as a full member of the association. At the same time, GVC Holdings – with the bwin, Partypoker and Partycasino brands – was also adopted as a full member.

In addition, it has been decided to abolish BOS previous systems with differentiated voting rights with immediate effect. In the future, there is only one kind of membership in BOS, and it is as full member. Each member owns a voting right.

BOS’s ambition is to gather the most qualitative online gaming companies on the Swedish gaming market. Hero Gaming and GVC had no difficulty claiming their place among these companies. Through the breadth we represent – we are now over twenty online gaming companies in the association – and the competence companies possess, we want to take the lead that the Swedish licensing system becomes a success, says Gustaf Hoffstedt.

BOS has also decided to abolish its previous system of differentiated voting rights. That system was perhaps necessary when the association started as Sweden’s first gaming industry association in 2012, but as the market matured, there is no reason not to treat all members equally.
