Petra Blixt becomes new head of sales and marketing at Svenska Spel Sport & Casino. Petra most recently comes from LeoVegas where she was previously Marketing Director and now mostly comes from a role as Chief Marketing Officer.

Petra Blixt will be part of the management team and report directly to the CEO of Svenska Spel Sport & Casino. She will take up her position on January 20, 2020.

As head of sales and marketing, Petra will be responsible for developing the digital marketing and sales process and, in line with Svenska Spel’s overall goal, drive a winning digitized change and sales journey.

Svenska Spel has a fantastic position in the market with its incorporated and popular brands such as Oddset and Stryktipset as well as a very clear focus on player responsibility. But it has also been identified areas where the company has a change journey to make to continue taking shares in a competitive market. Petra Blixt comes most recently from a role as Chief Marketing Officer at listed Leovegas where she was also Marketing Director and Head of Sales. She has solid experience of digital sales in highly customer-driven companies, broad experience in marketing, sales and well-understood challenges in a new gaming market. She has also been Head of Commercial at C More before coming to Leovegas. Petra succeeds Mats Eklund, who after many years at the company now leaves Svenska Spel Sport & Casino.
