What we can expect from Take the Bank?

Take the Bank is a unique offering from Betsoft, full of fast-paced features that will appeal to a wide range of player tastes. One of the standout features is called ‘Heist Spins’. This is a unique mechanic where every time a robber appears on the reels, they are replaced by wild symbols after 10 spins. The game is packed with the potential for big wins, with a maximum exposure of 4000x a player’s stake. Fans of both low and high volatility games will keep coming back to this slot as it combines high-octane gameplaywith Betsoft’s classic cinematic animation.

In what ways does this slot differ from other Betsoft releases?

As we look towards delivering our 2020 roadmap, our ethos is to develop cinematic games packed to the brim with innovative features that players recognise. This delivery of 3D, animation-rich and finely polished slots has recently won us several landmark iGaming awards.

Within Take the Bank, we are adding elements of gameplay and game architecture that have been directly requested by players. We continue to reach out to the slots community to make products that players want. Our product team work side-by-side with and listen to both operators and players. Game development is tweaked along the way to consider all feedback received accordingly. We are using this approach to game design to create products that meet the demands of a market that is hungrier than ever for high-quality, ‘long-tail’ games that can stand the test of time and perform over a sustained period.

What was the biggest challenge during the development of the game?

The overall game creation process is a fascinating area to examine in more detail. From game design and complex mathematics, to sound work and finally certification as the concluding element. For us, it is also about striking the right tone from an aesthetics standpoint in order to match the mechanics of the game. Of course, we’re not actually robbing a bank. The game has a distinct animated look and feel to it, but at the same time we wanted to ensure players can step into the shoes of our characters and experience the thrill of scoring a big (but fake) heist. There is a fine line between the mechanics and the feel of a game. This was the biggest challenge and I like to think we managed to strike a great balance between the two, so they work in harmony.

What special features does this game include to make it so unique and exciting for players?

We have done a great deal of user testing on Take the Bank and results have shown that our Heist Spins feature is a fantastic player retention tool. The chances for wilds to appear across the screen in a matter of 10 spins keeps players on the edge of their seats and puts a big smile on their faces once they see the bombs blow up. Of course, the bonus game works well with our classic Betsoft sticky wilds mechanic – a feature players have grown to love over the years. Every time another spin appears, the wilds move around, opening the possibility of massive wins. Also making a return to this game is the Bonus Buy feature.

This is a classic Betsoft mechanic that we knew would be a great fit for players who want to immediately head into the bonus and increase their chances of winning in the fastest way possible.
