SBTech continues US expansion with launch at Rising Star Casino

SBTech has launched its market leading on-property sportsbook at Rising Star Casino in Indiana under Churchill Downs’ BetAmerica brand.

Indiana marks the sixth US state SBTech has entered into in less than 18 months, signifying the company’s rapid growth in the US market.

The BetAmerica sportsbook at Rising Star Casino offers state of the art self-service sports betting kiosks, as well as cashiers and a full bar.  It is anticipated that the kiosks will drive a significant portion of the volume and will be quickly adopted by players, as they have in other states.  The on-property launch will soon be followed by the launch of SBTech’s proprietary on-line and mobile sports betting platform.

“We are very excited to be entering the great state of Indiana” said Melissa Riahei, President of SBTech US. “Our on-property sportsbook product has been extremely successful to date, and we look forward to replicating that success for Rising Star Casino, in partnership with Churchill Downs.”

“We are thrilled to be working with SBTech and Rising Star Casino to bring the BetAmercia sportsbook to Indiana” said Ian Williams, President of on-line gaming at Churchill Downs.  “Using SBTech’s superior technology platform and innovative products, we have established a strong foothold in several states, and look forward to continuing our growth in partnership with SBTech.”

SBTech’s Indiana launch follows on the heels of SBTech’s successful launch of the Oregon State Lottery’s Scoreboard app just a few weeks ago.  Since PASPA was struck down last year, SBTech has quickly established itself as a market-leading sports betting and i-gaming supplier in the US, cementing partnerships with premier operators such as Churchill Downs, Golden Nugget, Resorts Casino Hotel, and the Oregon State Lottery, among others.
