Real Madrid pens partnership with Marathonbet

Real Madrid and Marathonbet have signed an agreement by which the leading online bookmaker becomes an official partner of the Club in Russia.

As part of this alliance, Marathonbet will count on with visibility on the virtual LED boards in Russian broadcasts utilizing digital overlay technology. In addition, customers will receive exclusive offers and will be able to enjoy special events organised by the bookmaker during the 2019/20 season, such as match day VIP experiences and meet and greets with Real Madrid players and legends.

Marathonbet is Real Madrid’s first Russian partner in its 117-year history. Since its inception in 1997, Marathonbet has offered live and pre-betting online betting on a wide variety of sports and events. 

Real Madrid closed the 2018-2019 season with a profit of 38.4 million euros, the second best result of the last twenty years. The club obtained an ordinary business of 757.3 million euros, 0.8% more, to which we must add the 100 million euros from the sale of Cristiano Ronaldo. In total, the club billed more than 850 million euros.

The marketing area, which in the last five seasons grew at an average rate of 11% year-on-year, fell 11.2% in the first half, to 129.74 million euros. Among the main sponsors of the entity include Emirates and Adidas and, in a second range, are Nivea, Audi, Hankook, the brewer Mahou, Exness, EA Sports and Hugo Boss.
