Anne Brennan will join the Tabcorp Board as a Non-Executive Director, subject to the receipt of the required regulatory and ministerial approvals.

During her executive career, Ms Brennan served as CFO at CSR and the Finance Director of Coates Group. Prior to her executive roles, she was a partner at KPMG, then Arthur Andersen and Ernst & Young where she was a Senior Partner, Head of Transaction Services and served on the Australian Board.

Ms Brennan has been a professional Non-Executive Director for the past decade and is currently a Non-Executive Director of Argo Investments Limited, Nufarm Limited and Charter Hall Group. She previously served as a Non-Executive Director and Deputy Chair of Echo Entertainment Group Limited (now The Star Entertainment Group Limited).

Tabcorp Chairman Paula Dwyer said: “Anne is a highly regarded and experienced public company director with broad industry experience, including in gambling entertainment. Anne’s strong commercial judgement, and extensive professional experience in audit, corporate finance and transaction services will be valuable to Tabcorp. We look forward to welcoming her to the Tabcorp Board.”

Ms Brennan will be formally appointed as Director following the receipt of the necessary approvals. In the meantime, she will act as an observer on the Board from 3 February 2020. 

Ms Brennan’s appointment follows the appointment in October of David Gallop AM as a Non- Executive Director of Tabcorp, subject to the necessary approvals, and is part of the Tabcorp Board’s ongoing renewal and succession process.
