Sazka Group increased profit by 27 percent in the first nine months of this year. Prior to taxation, this amounted to EUR 288 million, or approximately CZK 7.3 billion.

EBIDTA’s operating profit (before interest, taxes and depreciation) increased by almost a fifth to EUR 430 million (CZK 10.9 billion) in the first nine months of Sazce. Operating profit from number lotteries grew 11 percent year-over-year, 22 percent from sports betting and 66 percent from online gambling.

The subsidiary Sazka is the oldest lottery company in the Czech Republic with a dominant share of the lottery games of the Sportka or Eurojackpot type.
