Q&A with Paddy Mann, Business Development Director at Omega Systems.
First, give us an introduction to OMEGA Systems?
OMEGA Systems was founded in 2010 with the vision to provide enterprise-level OLTP/OLAP platform software solutions to iGaming and Land-Based operators. As an enterprise software supplier, OMEGA provides clients with their own gaming and e-commerce platform, allowing for total control of their data, operations, and player management utilizing any combination of over 180 third-party gaming providers integrated with our system. OMEGA provides 24/7 support from its international offices in Vancouver, Toronto, Malta and Barcelona.
Give us some background on OMEGA and your products?
OMEGA CORE is a product developed from the ground up to be an open iGaming platform (PAM) with the ability to quickly integrate third party products and providers. We are a technology company focusing on social responsibility, regulated markets and high volume multi-channel transaction management. Our agency system provides operators with a comprehensive hierarchical retail management facility, and our latest technology provides fully real-time player engagement.
What sets your platform apart from others?
As a fully featured iGaming platform (PAM), OMEGA is chosen by clients that wish to achieve full independence and control of their gaming operations. For example, one of our clients, BetWarrior, wished to make use of casino supply from Everymatrix, sports betting From Kambi, and a variety of payment and KYC providers. Betwarrior chose OMEGA as the underlying platform that succeeds in effectively and efficiently uniting the management and control of these great providers.
OMEGA is strictly a technology provider. We provide technology to outstanding organizations that wish to Take Control of their gaming system management. Regulations are becoming an increasing concern in the iGaming sector. How do you help your clients fulfil their regulatory requirements?
Regulatory compliance is at the front and centre of our mission. Our clients have been audited and active in all leading gaming jurisdictions and our company has recently received a Class II license from Romania. Our solution provides player onboarding and thorough responsible gaming rules according to jurisdiction requirements as well as detailed regulator-specific reporting.
We have clients in regulated and emerging markets, which means that we are constantly innovating to achieve regulatory compliance as required. We place the highest priority on any new regulatory features required by our clients as part of our standard business practice.
OMEGA has a great track record of bringing Land-Based entities online. How have you been so successful?
We are constantly innovating to meet the requirements of our ever-expanding global client base. Our SafePlay technology allows players the ability to use a single wallet for online and land-based gameplay. SafePlay also extends complete responsible gaming and social responsibility features to land-based slot machines and other gaming devices. As a result, a player is free to play in a land-based casino and then seamlessly carry on playing at home using the same wallet in a safe and socially responsible manner.
Innovation is crucial for any area in the iGaming world. How have you managed to stay at the forefront of this industry?
As an enterprise software development company we are constantly developing new, innovative product features and expanding the list of third-party providers that are supported on our platform.
We currently have over 180 third party providers integrated on OMEGA CORE, and we have dedicated teams working on new integrations monthly. We typically add three to four new providers each month. This month, for instance, we are currently releasing support for Coinspaid payments, Solid Gaming aggregator, Maverick Slots, N2 Entwine live dealer, HELLOSODA verification provider and KYC6 KYC provider.
Cryptocurrency is a hot topic in the iGaming industry, what is OMEGA’s approach?
OMEGA was one of the first online platforms to embrace the establishment of cryptocurrency in the iGaming platform. Our clients have the ability to provide multi-currency player wallets and to allow for the use of cryptocurrency funds on gaming products that do not already have native crypto-currency support. We also ensure that all social responsibility and limit supports are fully enforced.
Can you tell us about any new products in the works at OMEGA?
Our latest product, which we are introducing at ICE 2020, is our real-time customer engagement platform: CHRONOS. This brilliant technology provides enhanced player acquisition and retention intelligence by using state of the art event monitoring to provide fully automated real-time messaging and promotional awards including bonuses, freebets and freespins. Our clients can thus deliver exactly that which their players need at the exact time that it is required..
