ATG cautioned by The Swedish Gaming Inspectorate
The Swedish Gaming Inspectorate has distributed a note to ATG for unauthorized bonus handling.
We have made mistakes and accept the remark from the Gaming Inspectorate without reservation, says Patrik Brissman, ATG’s Chief Corporate Communication Officer.
ATG itself chose to report the incident – which occurred on January 14 – to the Gaming Inspection. The violation involved an offer of a bonus of SEK 50 to new customers, who were wrongly paid to 15 existing customers, for a total value of SEK 850.
Plying the regulations is the foundation of our entire business. Therefore, it is a matter of course for us to report when we discover that an error has been committed. We regret and continue to work focused on avoiding any errors that may occur, says Patrik Brissman.
In its decision, the Gaming Inspectorate states that the violation in this case is less serious and that a complaint may be regarded as sufficient intervention.
