PGS announces its virtual forum on August 19 – 20 through the Zoom platform.
PGS VIRTUAL GAMING comes after a long recess due to the coronavirus and the lockdown imposed by the Peruvian government.
Due to the current circumstances, the PGS 2020 fair in its traditional format cannot be held, so, taking advantage of the date already scheduled for the month of August, the organizers announced that they will hold a virtual #PGSVirtualGaming presentation focused on the Peruvian market. Although the magnitude of the event doesn’t resemble the traditional show, PGS in virtual format is no less important since they will be attended by the highest representatives of the sector, as the Director-General of Games Manuel San Román Benavente, SONAJA represented by Mr. Fernando Calderón and the Peruvian Association of Sports Betting – APADELA by Mr. Alberto D’Angelo. Likewise, directors, senior executives representing manufacturers, suppliers, sports betting, online games, and operators will participate.
The first day in a Forum, the authority and unions will speak with 05 panelists and the second day around a conversation 12 panelists will participate. The moderating function will be in charge of the international consultant Mr. José Miguel Chueca Santa María.
It will be two days that starting at 3:00 pm and via the Zoom platform, where we will have the opportunity to listen to the exhibition of experts and distinguished panelists who will address current issues related to the Peruvian post-quarantine market.
In Peru, the gaming sector is paralyzed, waiting to enter phase IV according to the government’s disposition for the month of August. The #PGSVirtualGaming will take place at a key moment to address the problem in Peru considering that by August 19 and 20 the protocols for this sector must be already approved, in addition, some businesses are restarting activities for the benefit of the operator and employment.
