Football Index administrators request £4.5m customer refund

Business News

Football Index administrators have issued a statement regarding the distribution of the money that may still be owed to customers after the football stock index went into administration in March.

Administrators of BetIndex Limited Begbies Traynor issued an application for the swift determination of the appropriate distribution of the monies held in the Football Index Player Protection Account, and the identification of the customer classes who may be entitled to participate in those funds, in respect of the sum of £4.5m currently held in the company’s client bank account with Nedbank.

This is the first step towards the distribution of cash balances to customers of the Football Index platform.
