LuckyDays fined €400,000 by Dutch regulator

Regulation

The Dutch Gaming Authority (Ksa) has imposed a fine of €440,000 on the Curaçao-based company Raging Rhino. The casino offered games of chance to Dutch players through the website luckydays.com.

Research by the Ksa showed that the LuckyDays.com website was accessible from the Netherlands, that the payment method iDEAL, which is common in the Netherlands, was used and that the site referred to an online platform.

In the period from 1 May 2020 to 31 July 2020, 224,630 transactions were processed via iDEAL from Dutch bank accounts for a total of more than 18 million euros.

The luckydays.com website is no longer accessible from the Netherlands. Raging Rhino paid the fine in full.
