Sisal launches new innovation lab in Turin
Sisal announces the opening of its first Innovation Lab, the new technological center of excellence entirely promoted by the company, to offer a select group of young digital experts an opportunity for exchange and growth.
The center, which will be born within the Agnelli Foundation in Turin , is part of the economic and employment investment plan that Sisal is carrying out in the field of innovation, which currently sees over 500 people – a quarter of the company population – dedicated to ‘implementation of new technologies and code writing.
The laboratory aims to attract the best talents from different training paths but focused on digital innovation, to experiment and develop new ideas in the field of artificial intelligence and digital transformation . “Over the last few years we have made great strides”, comments Mario Martinelli, Chief Information Officer of Sisal.
“The offer has been extended to new countries, we have created new gaming platforms with the desire to be market leaders in technologies, we have invested in Data Platform and Artificial Intelligence, as well as revolutionizing our digital offer. Today I am very satisfied with this new goal: the creation of a pole dedicated to innovation that will be able to devote itself in the medium to long term, focusing on ideas, on the enhancement of talents, on experimentation and research, helping the whole company to look beyond ” .
The project, it is specified in a note from the group, will represent an opportunity for mutual exchange, in which the managers of Sisal will make their skills available by comparing themselves with young talents, with the possibility of their inclusion in the company . At the same time, the laboratory will provide a great networking opportunity with universities, research centers and startups already in contact with Talent Garden.
