OMEGA Systems: Warming up for ICE 2022

Paddy Mann, Chief Commercial Officer at OMEGA Systems.

It’s been a long wait for the largest B2B event of the year, and like most iGaming companies, OMEGA Systems is excited to enter the halls of London ExCel once again. And while it’s a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with partners old and new for most, ICE 2022 is a particularly significant event for OMEGA. Since the last ICE exhibition in 2020, right before the world changed, OMEGA has been evolving in more ways than one – and ICE offers the ultimate platform to showcase it all. From innovative product developments to new market entries, internal expansion, and more, the team at OMEGA could not be more ready to kick off the iGaming calendar with a bang.

Leading the industry with its superior platform management software solutions, OMEGA Systems is a unique offering to the industry. Not only is their B2B software built exclusively for their growing portfolio of clients, but the OMEGA team also places a huge focus on working with their clients to develop their solutions. From connecting land-based clients to the online market space to developing innovative solutions for crypto and social casinos, OMEGA’s team is highly skilled in turning client feedback and requirements into flawless and innovative software solutions. So whether the client is an operator, land-based retailer, aggregator, or shop solution, OMEGA continues to develop its independent management platform software to suit everyone’s needs.

Putting their money where their mouth is, OMEGA has truly utilised the last two years to evolve their offering and support their clients in a multitude of areas. One of the main products headlining OMEGA’s showcase this year will be their Data Vault, a future-proofed control database. This impressive development offers an output schema that can be adapted to any jurisdiction-specific requirements, allowing clients to meet any and all regulatory requirements of uniformed data storage with ease. OMEGA is proud to now offer their Data Vault as part of their standard package offering – at no additional cost – making their solution even more valuable.

Chronos, another OMEGA innovation, will also be widely discussed in April, with its capabilities offering clients endless potential in player interaction. This advanced player communication and retention tool allow clients to provide fully-automated and real-time messaging along with promotional rewards including bonuses, free bets, and free spins to their players. Chronos uses advanced event monitoring to provide the client with intelligence and the tools they need to optimise the customer experience, and ultimately reduce churn rates. It’s yet another clear example of OMEGA listening to the needs of their clients and working with them as partners to develop solutions to their challenges.

While the Data Vault and Chronos will be at the tip of the OMEGA team’s tongues, they also have plenty of other superior additions to boast about that will be welcome news to partners both existing and new. For example, their in-house risk analysis tool, MARS, has significantly supported clients since its launch. Then to fall in line with the Data Vault, OMEGA has also launched their advanced ETL product which allows for the customised transfer of data for regulatory compliance to data warehouse applications, in-jurisdiction archiving, and tailored export capabilities. This product also forms part of the OMEGA CORE package, meaning that licensing fees for bespoke data replication in cloud-hosted environments can be significantly reduced.

Furthermore, OMEGA has also been working at full speed over the last couple of years to secure more third-party integrations into their software, from game suppliers to payment suppliers and more. One of the core values of OMEGA is their ability to adhere to their client’s needs – and each integration represents another requirement fulfilled. Now offering more than 270 suppliers – including more than 60 payment service providers – it’s evident OMEGA is eager to support their clients. To add to that, OMEGA now also supports crypto and social casino, allowing a single operator using the OMEGA software to build both fiat, crypto, and social casinos and have them running in parallel on a single platform instance.

Regulation and supporting clients entering newly regulated jurisdictions has also very much been on OMEGA’s path, and the team has been working hard to provide the tools needed to open up more jurisdictional doors. More recent regulatory integrations include Renaper and SIRA for Argentina, CRUKS for the Netherlands and KEKKH for Hungary… but the list of jurisdictions entered over the last two years goes far and beyond. From Argentina to North America, Netherlands, Africa, Hungary, Romania, and more, not only is OMEGA growing, but their partners have the opportunity to expand alongside them. The unique concept of OMEGA means it’s their clients themselves who hold the licences, running their own platform, allowing OMEGA to focus resources on software development inclding all regulatory support.

With all of the above developments in mind, it comes as no surprise that OMEGA has evolved internally as a company also. This global team – with operations across Portugal, Canada, Malta, and beyond – has grown significantly over time, whilst still keeping a focus on bringing quality people into the team as opposed to only growing by numbers. More recently, Peter Van Tuyl was brought on board as the Chief Operations Officer of OMEGA Systems, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and experience from the industry. Coming from a product management background, Peter is a strong addition to an already mighty team, and has played a huge role in the implementation of OMEGA’s continued developments. Peter now joins the brand new head office in Portugal, in Lisbon’s Amoreiras Plaza, the number one location in downtown Lisbon.

OMEGA also continues to keep their eyes peeled for new talent, with new positions being created across all offices. Currently, these include back-end developers in both Lisbon and Vancouver, along with support engineers in Lisbon. And as the team continues to grow, it’s not only about hiring new talent but promoting internally too. In 2021 the commercial team received a significant boost with both Patrick Mann promoted to Chief Commercial Officer, and Ailbhe O’Reilly promoted to Director of Account Management.

It’s safe to say OMEGA hasn’t wasted a minute of time during the pandemic – and if anything, has used the time to flourish and further develop their team from the inside out. So ICE 2022 comes at the perfect time for this ever-evolving company. The most anticipated event on the iGaming calendar, ICE presents an opportunity for Team OMEGA to meet with their existing and potential clients face to face, allowing them to network in-person and build that much-needed rapport. While the industry looks forward to a week of mingling with peers and indulging in social networking, OMEGA’s main goal this year is continued expansion into new jurisdictions with new and existing operators and acquisition through both personal interaction and the showcasing of its impressive portfolio. As a secondary benefit to ICE, the OMEGA team is also looking forward to reuniting with their colleagues across the globe. Though they do meet in person multiple times throughout the year, COVID restrictions have made this less possible, and ICE 2022 presents the perfect opportunity to make it happen.

ICE 2022 will be just one of many shows OMEGA attends in 2022 – iGaming Next New York in May, iGB Amsterdam in July, and G2E Las Vegas in October – but by far London ICE will be the biggest. Armed with impressive product developments to showcase, a multitude of clients to finally recoonect with, and exciting internal news to share, there’s no doubt that OMEGA will be one of the busiest stands at London ExCel. Make sure to swing by at Stand N5-310.
