Winamax socially irresponsible ad banned by the ANJ

The French National Games Authority (ANJ) has ordered Winamax to withdraw its “Everything for the Gathering” advertising campaign because it believes that the video spot “drives the message according to which sports clubs can contribute to gambling success”.

The ANJ asked a bookmaker to withdraw one of its advertisements from all platforms. This is the advertising spot “Everything for the daronne” of Winamax, created by agency TBWA / Paris, on the occasion of the UEFA Euro 2020 football.

The National Games Authority has considered that “the Winamax film” Tout pour la Daronne “carries the wrong message that any sportsman can contribute to gambling success, either as a social ascension or a change in social status.
