Google set to accept advertising in Ontario

According to the Canadian Gaming Association, Google has changed its Canadian policy to allow provincially licensed operators for sports betting, online casinos and daily fantasy sports in Ontario to serve ads on its platforms.

Once operators have registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario and iGaming Ontario, they can apply for a Google Certificate.

The advantages of operators being able to advertise with Google are obvious, and it is noteworthy that no gray market operator in the provinces will be able to apply for these certifications.
