Gaming Realms is launching its portfolio of Slingo Original games in the Canadian province which is home to some 8.5mln people.

Launching in partnership with Loto-Québec, a state corporation and the only regulated operator of iGaming in Quebec, initially Gaming Realms is starting with the Slingo Extreme and Blackjack Xchange games, with the rest of the portfolio following soon after.

“Hot on the heels of being awarded our Ontario igaming license, we are delighted to have gone live with Loto-Québec,” said Mark Segal, Gaming Realms’ chief financial officer.

“2022 is set to be an exciting time for the company as we move to establish a strong foothold in the Canadian market and work towards our longer-term plan of expanding further into the North American market.”

The company also noted that it represents its first launch with a member of the World Lottery Association and that Slingo already has brand presence in Quebec through Slingo branded scratch cards (of which “several million” are sold every year, it noted).
