Ireland’s largest independent bookie worth ‘hundreds of millions of euro’ has started talks with a number of interested parties for a potential sale of the company, with bids expected by the middle of the month.

Founded by John Boyle in 1989, the business has grown to over 340 shops in Ireland and the UK, and offers telephone, mobile and online betting and gaming services in Ireland, the UK and a range of other international markets and employs around 2,500 people.
