La Française des Jeux (FDJ) has confirmed the acquisition of the ZEturf group, an online horse betting and online sports betting operator under the ZEbet brand.

The two companies entered into exclusive negotiations on September 19. The finalization of this transaction should take place in the second half of 2023, specifies FDJ in a press release. Time to get the green light from the Competition Authority.

The group is getting hold of a group with a hundred employees and which achieved a turnover of nearly 50 million euros in 2021.

This takeover also allows the FDJ to open several other doors. Starting with that of the world of horse betting thanks to the acquisition of the second player in French turf.
