Kindred Group to remain in Norway as regulator drops daily fines
The Norwegian Lottery Authority was able to inform Trannel and Kindred Group, which among other things own gaming providers Unibet, that they have once again chosen to put the compulsory fine on hold.
In a press release on 8 December, Trannel is said to have again asked for a postponement, and it is this request that the Swedish Lottery Authority is now accepting.
That the Norwegian Lottery Authority is once again pausing the fine comes just under three weeks after the Norwegian Lottery Authority announced that it would resume a daily compulsory fine of NOK 1.2 million against the gaming company. The supervisory authority paused the compulsory fine on 7 October, when Trannel announced that they would withdraw from Norway, but resumed this on 22 November this year.
