Flutter Entertainment mulls additional US listing
Flutter Entertainment has revealed that it is considering a secondary listing of its shares in the US and the option to pursue, as a second step, a primary US listing – one of the criteria for access to important US indices.
“The board has reached a preliminary view that an additional US listing of Flutter’s ordinary shares will yield a number of long-term strategic and capital market benefits,” the FTSE 100-listed company said in a statement.
The Dublin-based gambling group said that a U.S. listing would provide a number of long-term strategic and capital market benefits including greater overall liquidity in its shares and the chance to pursue a primary U.S. listing, among other things.
Flutter said it will start the consultation with shareholders immediately before putting forward any formal proposal.
