win2day and the Austrian Tennis Association: A new, comprehensive partnership in the red-white-red sports world has recently emerged.

The gaming side of Austrian Lotteries is expanding its fair play sponsorship to include Austrian tennis, will appear as the new ÖTV main sponsor in the future, with a strong focus on disabled sports and also relies on wheelchair tennis ace Nico Langmann as a tennis ambassador. The most important ÖTV competitions will all be actively supported by win2day in the future: the IMMOunited Bundesliga presented by win2day, the win2day ÖTV state championships and the win2day wheelchair tennis state championships. In addition, win2day shines as the new main sponsor of the ÖTV wheelchair tennis department, and there is also a year-round online cooperation with the ÖTV. The duration of the contract with the ÖTV and Nico Langmann is two years.

Wawer: “Fair play and tennis as a perfect match” With its commitment, win2day now also covers the women’s, men’s and handicapped sections in domestic tennis. The only online gaming provider licensed in Austria is looking forward to the cooperation with great pleasure. “Tennis is a popular sport in Austria. Through our commitment, we reach players, events and officials,” says Georg Wawer, Managing Director at win2day. As in all other win2day fair play sponsorship sports, the focus here is also on the domestic scene. “Nico, currently the best-ranked Austrian tennis player, will help us as an ambassador in our long-term partnership with ÖTV to establish fair play and tennis as a perfect match,” added Wawer.

Schweda praises win2day’s “big heart for disabled sports”. “I am very pleased that we have found such a new, very strong partner who will support the most important activities and areas of the Austrian Tennis Association such as the Bundesliga, the state championships and above all inclusion, which is particularly important to me personally, in the coming years two years, “explained ÖTV Managing Director Economy Thomas Schweda. “win2day has already shown in the past how big a heart it has for disabled sports.” ÖTV sports director and Davis Cup captain Jürgen Melzer was equally delighted: “It’s nice to see and I’m also personally very happy that such a top-class company is so interested in our sport and wants to support it. You can also see in the other sports in which win2day is active that it is a very good, reliable partner.”

Markus Ambrosi, who is in charge of Marketing/Sponsoring at ÖTV, added: “With win2day, ÖTV has a major Austrian partner at its side who, for the first time, is supporting all important ÖTV competitions at the same time. The partnership not only enhances the win2day ÖTV national championships and the IMMOunited Bundesliga presented by win2day, but also enables us to initiate or intensify projects in popular sports within the wheelchair tennis department.
