NFL set to approve gameday sports betting

Sports Betting

The NFL is expected to loosen its betting policies once again. As the rule stands now, NFL teams can have sportsbooks in their stadiums.

At the vote, owners are expected to approve keeping in-stadium sports books open on gamedays.

The NFL first permitted stadiums to have betting lounges and allowed teams to accept sponsorships from sportsbook operators for the 2020 season.

Many states have legalized sports betting and fans can still bet at arenas in a mobile capacity, but the addition of physical sportsbooks in stadiums is on the rise, and can skyrocket in popularity with the amendment to the NFL rules.
