Arizona sports betting spend hits $4.52 billion
Online gambling has been a huge success in Arizona. During the opening weekend of legal Arizona sports betting, the state ranked fourth in the country in transaction volume and saw more than 270,000 new accounts created.
Then, it took just three months for total wagers to eclipse the $1 billion mark. Six months after the launch, Arizona bettors wagered nearly $691 million in March 2022, a state record. In first nine months of 2023 revenue was $4.52 billion, versus $4.23 billion in 2022.
In Ocotber the revenue from online gambling was $166.8 million the states total gambling revenue was $487.1 million. Sports betting revenue in New Jersey grew by 18 per cent to $92.3 million,
