Norsk Tipping names Tonje Sagstuen as permanent CEO
The board of Norsk Tipping AS has appointed Tonje Sagstuen as the new managing director of Norsk Tipping.
Tonje Sagstuen has been part of Norsk Tipping’s senior management team since 2014, and she has been deputy CEO for the past five years. She was director of the department Responsibility, society and communication until she was appointed as managing director from 1 September this year after Thor Gjermund Eriksen.
I am pleased to be able to present Tonje Sagstuen as the new managing director of Norsk Tipping. With her, Norsk Tipping gets a skilled and experienced manager who knows the company and its employees very well, says chairman Sylvia Brustad.
The board has appreciated the work Sagstuen has done as acting managing director, and is pleased that she has accepted the position on a permanent basis. We are convinced that Sagstuen is the right person to lead Norsk Tipping going forward, says Brustad.

Tonje Sagstuen is a trained assistant professor and has a master’s degree in multimedia management from BI. She came to Norsk Tipping from her job as responsible editor at Oppland Arbeiderblad. She is also known for her background in sports with her 217 matches for the Norwegian national team in handball.
Sagstuen takes over as permanent managing director from Monday.
