According to Australian media Stake.com founder Ed Craven, and his business partner have built a 4.2% stake in ASX-listed online bookmaker PointsBet. The stake was acquired through EasyGo Gaming, another of their businesses.

Stake.com was established in 2017 and has grown into one of world’s largest online casinos, processing hundreds of billions of bets on sports, virtual table games and online slots.

Stake.com is an Australian-Curaçaoan online casino. It is operated by Medium Rare NV, a company incorporated in Curaçao where it holds an online casino licence.

It also offers video streams with live dealers. Users at Stake.com generally transact in cryptocurrencies rather than traditional currencies for their betting accounts. Account balances can be withdrawn in the equivalent value of cryptocurrency and then deposited back into the user’s personal cryptocurrency wallet. Users of Stake.com’s UK site deal only in fiat currency.
