Bet365 launches mobile sportsbook in Arizona
The sports betting operator announced today it has launched in Arizona as part of a partnership with the Ak-Chin Indian Community. It’s the ninth state of operation in the U.S. for the sports betting company.
The launch comes just one week after the sports betting company announced its launch in Indiana.
The Arizona Department of Gaming awarded bet365 its license this past August. The sports betting operator had 180 days to launch in the state.
Each Arizona sports betting license allows for online sports and brick-and-mortar sports betting. Arizona prohibits anyone under the age of 21 for participating in sports betting.
As part of its partnership with the Ak-Chin Indian Community, bet365 has pledged a $ 1million charitable donation to the tribe.
“We are excited to partner with bet365, and appreciate its charitable contribution to the Community and vital services for Ak-Chin Members,” said Chairman Robert Miguel of the Ak-Chin Indian Community, in a release. “With bet365, we will be able to provide our customers a premier experience – no matter whether they visit our sportsbook in-person or online.
