Network Rail order removal of Paddy Power ad “Good job you’re used to delays Britain”

A Paddy Power advert has been removed by Network Rail in London Paddington station after it had the payoff: ‘Good job you’re used to delays, Britain.’

Network Rail were unimpressed by the payoff line on the billboard, which was 72ft (22m) long and 5ft (1.5m) tall – so they ordered JC Decaux to take it down.

A Network Rail spokesman said: ‘We know Paddy Power love to have fun with their ads and we’re totally on board with that, but this one hadn’t jumped the required fences with our advertising partners before going up at Paddington.’
