BetMGM is to take over the ‘Official Training Wear Partner’ rights at Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur from next season.

According to SportBusiness, the multi-year agreement comes amid news that the Turkish grocery delivery company will leave the UK market, as well as Europe and the US, in order to focus on its domestic market of Turkey.

Getir first agreed a multi-year deal with Spurs in 2021 to become the club’s first ever training kit partner, coinciding with the company’s entrance into the UK market.

For BetMGM, the partnership would help boost the Las Vegas-based gambling brand’s visibility following its UK launch last August.

Since entering the UK, BetMGM has partnered with treble winners Manchester City, Newcastle United, Premier League Darts, and Cheltenham organisers the Jockey Club.

AIA will remain in place as Spurs’ main shirt sponsor until 2027, after signing a reported £40m a year extension of its agreement in 2019, which is worth £320m over its duration.

The deal will see Spurs become the latest addition to BetMGM’s Premier League partnership roster, lining up alongside second-tier sponsorship deals with Newcastle United, Manchester City and Wolves.
