The total gambling spend on betting, online casino, gaming machines and land-based casinos amounted to DKK 627m in March 2024. This corresponds to an increase of 4.6 per cent compared to March 2023.

For online casino, gaming machines and land-based casino, there was an increase in the spending in March 2024 compared to the same month in 2023. Total revenue for Q1 was DKK1.76 billion.

However, the spending on betting fell by 14.8 per cent in the same period. In the online casino market, the difference between stakes and GGR is considerably greater than the landbased betting market, as the rate of return is also considerably greater. Online gaming revenue in Denmark was up by 16% to DKK869.8 million.
