Maria Z Furenmo has been appointed new Head of HR at Svenska Spel. She most recently came from a position as CHRO at Skandia.

Maria Z Furenmo has a background from several leading roles in the gaming industry, and has broad experience in HR and change work from companies with a strong focus on IT and digital competence. She has previously worked as CHRO at Svenska Spel between the years 2016-2023.

I am happy to welcome Maria back to us at Svenska Spel. She has broad experience from various industries and is a valued leader who drives change. Our overall goal is to have Sweden’s best employee experience and Maria will contribute to taking the next step in that development, says Svenska Spel CEO Erik Strand.

Current HR manager, Anna-Clara Fredriksson will leave at the end of June and Maria Z Furenmo will start at the end of August.
