DraftKings set to enter Wisconsin with Chippewa Indians

DraftKings announced it has come to terms on an agreement with the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, which grants market access for DraftKings to begin retail sportsbook operations at the Lake of the Torches Resort Casino starting August 28, 2024, pending licensure and regulatory approvals.

Upon launch, DraftKings Sportsbook mobile and retail operations will be available to customers in 28 U.S. states, in addition to Washington D.C. and Ontario, Canada.

On August 28, 2024, sports fans 21-years-of-age and older will have access to six DraftKings Sportsbook kiosks and one over-the-counter window located on the casino floor, adjacent to the property’s sports bar, pending licensure and regulatory approvals. Woody’s Bar & Grill features ample sports viewing options with a dozen televisions, a live sports ticker, a full bar, great gameday food selections, and more.

The Lake of Torches Resort Casino, proudly owned and operated by the Lac du Flambeau Band of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians, is a premier dining and entertainment destination featuring 800 slot machines and a variety of table games, exciting live entertainment, delicious dining options including the Eagle’s Nest Restaurant, Woody’s Bar & Grill and the Dancing Waters Lounge. The property also includes a lakeside hotel with more than 100 guest rooms and suites with picturesque views of the Northwoods of Wisconsin.
