DraftKings unveils retail sportsbook in Kentucky with The Mint
DraftKings and The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green celebrated the grand opening of DraftKings’ new retail sportsbook.
Located inside the Post Time Race & Sports Lounge, the sportsbook features six kiosks, two over-the-counter windows, ample lounge seating, and provides guests with incredible viewing experiences with more than 30 televisions. An additional two kiosks are conveniently located on the main gaming floor, as well as another over-the-counter window at the Player’s Club.
“We are proud to team up with DraftKings to bring retail sports betting to The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green,” said Jim Mahnesmith, General Manager of the facility. “Especially with the launching of football and the approaching baseball playoffs, the new in-person DraftKings Sportsbook will be a wildly popular additional entertainment option not just for the Post Time Race & Sports Lounge and The Mint, but the entire Bowling Green area.
Leaders from The Mint Gaming Hall Bowling Green, Kentucky Sports Radio host Matt Jones and DraftKings were on hand to officially unveil the retail sportsbook with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the Mayor Pro Tem Sue Parrigin placed the ceremonial first bet.

Designed with sports fans in mind, customers that visit the retail location will have popular wagering options such as pre-game and in-game betting, as well as other engaging wagering options that fans can find on the DraftKings Sportsbook app. Inside the lounge, fans also can enjoy fun games such as table shuffle board or reserve one of the two Top Golf Swing Suites simulators.
